Scout’s Notes: Holman is an interesting prospect on the defensive side of the ball that screams potential as a pass rusher but someone that must continue filling out his frame, especially if he plans to reach his maximum abilities. He has great length and the look of a college 3-4 outside linebacker while also having the frame to grow into a possible 4-3 defensive end. Holman is a true edge rusher that does have that athleticism to drop into coverage, playing against tight ends or running backs. Now he isn’t is a blazer but can give at least 12-15 yards of defensive pass coverage. Holman is also football smart. His instincts work well whether it’s getting after the quarterback or working the edge to stop the outside run. Holman also works hard at his craft and desires to become the best football player he can become, so a player with is work ethic is good for the locker room. Needs more time to develop and hit the weights but Holman has the size, length and football instincts that college coaches want in an edge rusher.
